Sushasan Tihar: Raipur Zone 2 achieves 100% resolution of public grievances

Under the Sushasan Tihar 2025 initiative, Raipur Municipal Corporation Zone 2 successfully resolved all 3,583 applications received during the first phase of the program from April 8 to 11. This impressive feat, comprising 3,420 demands and 163 complaints, was achieved with 100 per cent quality and promptness during the second phase April 12 to May 4 at a Samadhan Camp held at Shaheed Smarak Bhawan. The Sushasan Tihar Samadhan Camp for the 7 wards of Zone 2, located at GE Road, Rajbandha Ground, was inaugurated by Raipur North MLA Purandar Mishra, Mayor Meenal Choubey, and Speaker Suryakant Rathore. Other dignitaries present included Raipur District Collector Dr Gaurav Kumar Singh, Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vishwadeep, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr Lal Umed Singh, Finance Department Chairman Mahendra Khodiyar, and various corporators.
 
Officials from the RMC and various government departments provided detailed, case-wise solutions to the 3583 applications submitted by the public. A significant moment was the immediate issuance of a learning license to Ritu Chature, a resident of Ravabhatha, at the Transport Department stall. She was felicitated on stage by the MLA, Mayor, and Speaker. Additionally, at the Women and Child Development Department stall, the dignitaries participated in the ‘Annaprasan’ ceremony, symbolizing the first feeding of solid food to five newborn babies. MLA Purandar Mishra also directed the concerned zone officer to promptly install taps on public water sources in Tatyapara to prevent water wastage. The MLA called upon citizens to work towards making Raipur district and city the top performers in the state. He also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Operation Sindoor and the action taken against terrorism. Mayor Meenal Choubey appreciated Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for organizing the Sushasan Tihar Camp to ensure good governance reaches the common people.
 
The Mayor also thanked Prime Minister Modi for Operation Sindoor. Speaker Suryakant Rathore stated that the Sushasan Tihar Samadhan Camps are effectively enabling the common people to benefit from Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s commitment to good governance. Raipur District Collector Dr Gaurav Kumar Singh affirmed the district administration’s dedication to delivering the benefits of good governance to the public, as per the Chief Minister’s directives. He reported that Raipur district received 3 lakh applications in the first phase of Sushasan Tihar and that through concerted efforts, including night vigils and meticulous monitoring, the administration aimed for 100 per cent resolution. He directed officials to ensure thorough review and monitoring of all received applications for 100 per cent quality and prompt resolution in Raipur city and district, urging them to conduct daily inspections and coordinate with public representatives to address and resolve public issues swiftly.
