Marking the occasion of World Red Cross Day, District Red Cross organised a health camp at Bajnamath old age home in the district on Thursday. During the camp, health check-up of the inmates of the old age home was done by the medical team who checked inmates’ blood pressure, sugar, eyes etc, while the doctors of Devji Netralaya and the team of Ayush department distributed medicines.

 

Earlier, Ashish Dixit, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Dr. Sunil Mishra, State Level Management Committee Member, Neeraj Verma, Executive Member, Sushil Mishra, Executive Member, Naresh Grover, Executive Member, Hemant Modh, Executive Member and Sunil Garg, Executive Member inaugurated the health camp by lighting a lamp and garlanding the portrait of the founder of Redcross Society, Sir Henry Dunant. Whereas, Sandeep Mishra, Revendu Singh, Vijay Singh Thakur, Vikram Singh Patel, Vipin Sharma, Santosh Sen, Jalil Ahmed from Indian Red Cross Society, Jabalpur rendered commendable support. On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, a blood donation camp was organized at Suvidha Hospital and Research Center, Jabalpur to help children suffering from thalassemia, in which 21 units of blood were collected by the District Hospital Blood Bank team.
