Ex-Union Minister Netam to grace RSS Karyakarta Vikas Varga-2 valedictory on 5th

Five time former Congress MP Arvind Netam will be the chief guest for this year’s concluding function of Karyakarta Vikas Varg-2 of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The function will be held at Reshimbag ground, at 6.30 pm on June 5. RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat will deliver the main speech.
Netam is the former Congress MP who was Union Minister during the regime of the then Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and P V Narsimha Rao. A top tribal leader of Chhattisgarh, Netam had quit Congress in 2023 and floated ‘Hamar Raj Party’.
Sarvadhikari Samir Kumar Mohanty and Nagpur Mahanagar Sanghchalak Rajesh Loya also will grace the ceremony.
The national-level training camp is held annually in Nagpur and attracts participants from across the country.
Only those karyakartas who have completed all previous levels of training are eligible to enrol
for the camp. Its name was Officers’ Training Camp (OTC) when it was started in the year 1927. Then 17 swayamsevaks had participated in the training. This year, the number has risen to 840 with the swayamsevakas from across India have come to Nagpur.
The Sangh Shiksha Varg, since last year, is been held with a new format and curriculum. Previously, it had a 7-day Prathamik (Primary) Varg, a 20-day Pratham varsh (first year), 20-day Dwitiya Varsh (second year) and a 25-day long Tritiya Varsh (third year).
As per the new format, the Sangh Shiksha Varg has a 3-day Prarambhik (initiation) Varg, a 7-day Prathamik (Primary) Varg, a 15-day Sangh Shiksha Varg followed by a 20-day Karyakarta Vikas Varg-1 and a 25-day Karyakarta Vikas Varg-2. The participants attend the camp for third year training after completing previous trainings at their respective places. The new system has professional training too.
