According to the complaint, Borkar joined Sarvashree Higher Primary School in 2005. When Principal Aruna Bante retired in October 2023, Borkar, being the senior-most teacher, expected to be appointed to the position.

However, the School Director bypassed her and submitted a proposal appointing Hemraj Baburao Dhote as Principal. Additionally, a joint committee proposal was sent to the Education Officer in which it was falsely showed Dhote as the senior candidate. Despite repeated requests, Borkar was denied access to her service booklet and was not paid her salary for six months. Even after Bante’s retirement, records falsely indicated her as the acting Principal and affected Borkar’s dues. Borkar’s efforts to seek redressal through official channels failed as Primary Education Officer Siddheshwar Kaluse allegedly took no action. Borkar approached then Deputy Director (Education), Ulhas Narad, who after conducting an inquiry, ordered action against the school authorities. Despite this directive, no action was taken. As a result, Borkar, currently serving at Saraswati Uccha Primary School in Binaki, filed a formal complaint with Hudkeshwar Police.
