5,000 sanitation workers to be felicitated today

 

 

 

In a gesture of gratitude, the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) will felicitate as many as 5,000 sanitation workers in a grand event to be organised at the Netaji Shubhash Chandra Bose Cultural and Information Centre, on June 11. Aims to honour the tireless service of the city’s frontline cleanliness workforce, the programme will commence at 1 pm and continue till 5 pm. Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh visited the convention centre to inspect the preparations and held detailed discussions with concerned officials to ensure a well-organised and dignified event.

 

He specifically asked the officials to ensure seamless execution and assigned responsibilities to various departments to avoid any disruption or disorder during the ceremony. Additional Commissioner V N Bajpai, Superintendent Engineer, Executive Engineer, Health Officer, Assistant Health Officer and other officials were present on the occasion.
