A total of 3,680 patients were registered and examined, out of which 883 patients of hypertension, 575 of diabetes and 175 of NAFLD were identified. All patients were given free consultation and treatment by the doctors 
 
The Health Department organised a free health check-up of sanitation workers and employees in the felicitation ceremony programme on Wednesday. It may be mentioned that as per instructions issued by the Government of India, various activities are being organised at the district level under a month-long campaign (from May 17 2025 to June 16, 2025) to commemorate World Hypertension Day. Main objective of this day is to create awareness among public about health services related to prevention, examination and treatment of hypertension. As per the order, Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) organised a felicitation ceremony of all sanitation workers at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Cultural Center, Ghantaghar in presence of State Minister Public Works Department, Rakesh Singh.
 
The Health Department Jabalpur, under the guidance of Collector, Deepak Saxena and Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Sanjay Mishra, organised a health camp to check health of all the sanitation workers and employees who came to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Cultural Center Ghantaghar. A total of 3,680 patients were registered and examined, out of which 883 patients of hypertension, 575 of diabetes and 175 of NAFLD were identified. All the patients were given free consultation and treatment by the doctors. Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr Sanjay Mishra, Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Hospital Superintendent, Dr Naveen Kothari, Urban Nodal Officer Dr S S Dahiya, Nodal Officer Dr Sarika Dubey, District Malaria Officer, Ajay Kureel, APM Sandeep Namdev, Vikas Srivastava and other medical officers were present.
 
The patients were examined by teams led by 10 medical officers. Dr Krishnakant Parihar, Dr Rahul Rai, Dr Devesh Mishra, Dr Lily Mahajan, Dr Nitin Yadav, Dr Kunal Kishore Mishra, Dr Saksham Jain, Dr Suhani Pathak, Dr Aditya Kumar, Dr Ajay Maurya along with pharmacists, nursing officers, supervisors and ANMs who also provided their services in the camp. In compliance with the order of the Madhya Pradesh Government, a health camp was also organised for officers and employees in the Income Tax Office. Civil surgeon Dr Naveen Kothari, Dr Sarika Dubey, APM Sandeep Namdev, medical and nursing officers were present in the camp. A total of 77 people were registered and examined in the camp organised in the Income Tax Office, in which 20 patients of hypertension and 11 patients of diabetes were identified
