Central agencies crossing limits: Shukla

 

 CHHATTISGARH Congress has come down heavily on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) attached the property of Sukma district Congress Bhawan. State Congress Media Chief Sushil Anand Shukla said that central agencies are crossing their limits at the behest of BJP. The attachment of Congress’ Sukma District Congress Bhawan by ED is extremely objectionable.

 

This action of ED is a part of BJP’s political conspiracy. The Congress party will give the account of every single penny spend in building the party office. Congress built Rajiv Bhawan with the help of its workers and the public during its 15 years inopposition. It is a tradition of Congress to build Congress Bhawan with public cooperation.

 

The historic Congress Bhawan of Raipur was also built with the donations sought during the festival of CherChhera Punni during the freedom struggle, from where Congress fought for the freedom of the country, he added. Sushil Anand Shukla said that Congress will give account of every single penny spent on the construction of its buildings. If the ED has the courage, it should investigate where the money for Kushabhau Thakre BJP office, built at a cost of Rs 150 crore came. The ED is working like a subsidiary organization of BJP. If Congress offices can be investigated, why should BJP offices not be investigated?, asked Shukla.
