STAR Academy and Sankalp Academy emerged champions of the DRM CUP 7-A-Side Football Tournament at SECRSA Football Ground, Motibagh and was organised by SECRSA. In the Under-10 final, Star Academy defeated DDSYS 3-0. Abdul Rafey (3rd), Ibrahim (14th) and Mohammad Umair (18th) were the goal scorers for the winning side. Rufey was named player of the match.

 

In Under-13 final Sankalp Academy thrashed Lashkaribagh 4-0 to claim the championship. Reyansh Gandhi (10th, 18th), Sthita Das (22nd) and Manas Rathod were the goal getters. Gandhi was declared player of the match. Deepak Kumar Gupta, DRM/SECR/NGP, graced the event and distributed trophies and individual prizes to the winners and runners-up. Dilip Singh, Sr Sports Officer & Sr DCM proposed a vote of thanks. SECRSA Sports Secretary Radhey Shukla, A Sarwate, Shrikant Roy, Abdul Khaliq, S Roy, Ritesh Inamula, A Anthony, Owais Khan and Shakti Singh Thakur worked hard for the success of the tournament.
