JUNE

J U N E

Patches of black in the blue sky,
Puddles of water as clouds cry,
Sunshine ceased behind curtains
A generous downpour
almost certain.
This June suddenly all so colourful,
The mirth now more blissful.
Tongues left with memory of mangoes,
Gazing at the sky as gentle wind blows.
Guffawing children swaying
All drenched as sky opens its heart
Dry trees find new life
They decide to make a fresh start.
