OVER 18000 spectators witnessed the mega final of maiden Vidarbha Pro T20 League between Pagariya Strikers and Neco Master Blaster at Vidarbha Cricket Association’s Jamtha Stadium on Sunday night. The franchise owners brought their staff members in busses to support their teams. The entry was free for all matches but the cricket lovers chose to become part of history by selecting the mega final. They started pouring in during the women’s summit clash which Orange Tigresses won in the evening.

By the time the match started, several blocks of the ground floor were full. VCA had opened gates of the lower stands for the spectators but as the match progressed, all the lower galleries were full to the brim. With hundreds of fans standing outside the stadium, the authorities were forced to open the gates of second tier as well. The fans enjoyed the game which had the feeling of an IPL match with fours and sixes flowing from the blades of batters. All in all it was a huge success. LIGHT SHOW ENTERTAINS FANS A dazzling light show was organised during the mid-innings break to entertain the spectators. The 10-minute show along with music was appreciated by one and all. Spectators were asked to flash their mobile torch lights and the stadium was illuminated in white.
