Kondhali Police have registered an case of causing death by negligence against manager of Fun and Food village following the death of Naitik Amit Deshmukh (8), from Manish Nagar. The boy drowned in the water park near Bazargaon on June 11 while enjoying a picnic with parents.
The incident happened in a children’s pool with a depth of 41 inches. According to the police, Naitik slipped and fell into the water. Lifeguards at the spot immediately pulled him out and tried to revive him with CPR, but he did not respond. He was taken to a hospital in Wadi, where doctors declared him dead.
Naitik’s father, Amit Deshmukh, later filed a complaint at the Kondhali Police Station.
Following the complaint, police launched an investigation. During the initial inquiry, the park’s General Manager, Chandan Kumar Singh Jamuna Singh, a resident of West Delhi, was suspected of negligence. He has been booked under Section 106 (1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
