Rotary Dist 3030 holds orientation programme for outbound students

THE orientation programme for 12 selected outbound students from Rotary Dist. 3030 was conducted on June 15 at Hotel Tuli International, Nagpur. The orientation programme was attended by parents along with the students who are selected and are going in this programme. This year 12 students from Dist. 3030 will go to USA, Germany, France, Spain, Mexico, and Belgium for 10 months or full academic year on this programme. During day long orientation programme Rotarian and professional speakers guided students on various topics.
 
Dist. Governor Rajindersingh Khurana, Incoming Dist. Governor Nana Shewale, Chairman RYE Mamta Jaiswal, Co-Chair Tarun Patel, C0-Chair Pooja Khatri, Dist Gov. Rajindersingh Khurana, Dr Manmohan Daga, Dr Manisha Mahatme, Rtn Jyoti Kapoor, Tarun Patel, Pooja Khatri and others who guided the students on various topics were present in the programme. The Rotary Youth Exchange programme is an exchange programme for higher secondary school students, aged between 15 to 18 years. Under this programme, students travel to other countries to learn about the culture and the language, as well as act, as a cultural ambassador for their own country. Being a school-based programme, the exchange duration is of one full academic term of 10 months for long term programme. The objectives of this exchange programme is to advance international understanding and world peace by enabling youth to study firsthand some of the accomplishments and differences of people in other countries.
