Sanskardhani is set to host the 4th World Ramayana Conference from December 26 to 28, 2025. The globally renowned spiritual leader and Padma Vibhushan, Swami Rambhadracharya will grace the event with his presence during the three-day celebration in the city. In preparation for the mega event, a formal invitation was extended to Swami Rambhadracharya by conference patron Swami Gyaneshwari Didi and Organising Secretary Dr Akhilesh Gumasta during a meeting held in Chitrakoot. Expressing his delight, Swami Rambhadracharya praised the consistent efforts behind this international academic and cultural conference.

Held every three years, the World Ramayana Conference includes an enriching blend of academic sessions, cultural performances, literary discussions, exhibitions, workshops and the ‘Ramayana School’. These elements have become the hallmark of the event. Prominent spiritual figures such as Swami Rajeshwaranand and Ramayana scholar Morari Bapu have participated in previous conferences. This year, delegates and scholars from Thailand, United States, Indonesia, Canada, United Kingdom, Switzerland, France and Sri Lanka have already confirmed their participation. It may be noted that the first World Ramayana Conference was organised in 2016, marking the golden jubilee year of the Ramleela Samiti, Garha. Since then, the event has grown in stature, with grand editions held in 2020 and 2023. A preliminary meeting for the ensuing conference has already taken place with chief patron Baba Kalyan Das and Mayor Singh.
