A total of 12 health centres of Jabalpur district have been awarded for fulfilling the standards fixed under Kayakalp and National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS). These centres have been awarded during an award ceremony organised at Administrative Academy, Bhopal on Monday.
Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr Sanjay Mishra informed that in Madhya Pradesh, the maximum number of institutions from Jabalpur district have met the criterion under Kayakalp and NQAS. Around 12 institutions including Government Seth Govinddas District Hospital (Victoria), Civil Hospital Patan, Ranjhi, Boria, Indrana Health Centre and others, were given awards in different categories in the presence of the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and the State Minister of Health.
With this, the maximum number of 26 institutions from Jabalpur have received the NQAS certificate in the state.
It may be mentioned that this year 26 institutions from Jabalpur have received the NQAS certificate, which is the highest in Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Aaman Hinouta has secured 98.5 percent marks.
The Central Government has initiated Kayakalp and NQAS in 2015 to upgrade the status of government hospitals in different arenas. The winner hospitals get funds for infrastructure development from the Central Government.
In view of the excellent efforts made by Jabalpur District Hospital, Civil Hospital Patan, Civil Hospital Ranjhi, Community Health Centre, Primary Health Centre and Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, about 12 institutions were given awards in various categories. CMHO Dr Sanjay Mishra, DPM Vijay Pandey, CBMO Dr Adarsh Vishnoi, DQM Dr Shikha Garg were awarded during the event.
