Ramkrishna Care Hospitals introduces advanced 3D OCT Technology in Cardiology

 

 

 

IN a groundbreaking advancement for cardiac healthcare in Central India, Ramkrishna Care Hospitals has unveiled 3D Optical Coherence Tomography (3D OCT) in its Cardiology Department on Monday, marking a major technological leap in precision heart care. The 3D OCT is a cutting-edge intravascular imaging technology that offers ultra high-resolution and real-time visualisation of coronary arteries enabling cardiologists to make faster, safer and more accurate decisions during complex procedures like angioplasty.

 

Benefits of 3D OCT includes microscopic imaging of coronary vessels with details 10 times greater than conventional imaging methods, live insights during procedures, allowing precise diagnosis and treatment, enhanced detection of stent malfunctions and residual blockages along with improved patient safety and clinical outcomes. The new facility was inaugurated under the leadership of Managing and Medical Director of Ramkrishna Care Hospitals Dr Sandeep Dave, along with a distinguished team of cardiologists including Dr Javed Ali Khan, Dr Shailesh Sharma, Dr Pranay Anil Jain, Dr Bharat Agrawal, Dr Sanjay Dubey and Dr Ajay Halwai.
