The Cyber Police have arrested a director of an educational institution for creating bogus Shalarth IDs for teachers in his institutaiton. The accused is identified as Omkar Bhaurao Anjikar (46), from Balabhaupeth, Manewada. According to the police, Anjikar runs three schools under Shantiniketan Shikshan Sanstha. These schools include Jai Hind Vidyalaya and SK B High Primary Vidya Mandir, also known as Mahatma Phule High Primary School, both located in Gulshan Nagar. Since 2019, Anjikar allegedly submitted fake documents for around 30 teachers to get Shalarth IDs approved.
 
He reportedly charged money from teachers to create these IDs and later collected Rs 10 lakh from each teacher to help them get salary arrears. With help from Nilesh Waghmare, a Pay Team Superintendent, Anjikar managed to create the bogus IDs. When the Cyber Police started checking for fake IDs, they found that 30 teachers from Anjikar’s schools had used bogus documents. Anjikar was arrested at around 9.15 pm on Monday. He is the fourth person arrested in this scam. Earlier, the police had arrested: Charan Narayan Chetule, Director of Rajshree Shikshan Sanstha in Gondia, Raju Kewalram Meshram from Bhandara, Dilip Dhote, a BJP leader and school Director from Kalmeshwar.
