City’s entrepreneur and Ultra-Marathoner Sudesh Zamwar delivered an outstanding performance at the world’s oldest, prestigious and iconic Comrades Marathon, recently held in South Africa.
In 2024, Sudesh finished his ‘up’ run between Durban and Pietermartizburg in 10:46:13 seconds winning the bronze medal.
This year the race was a ‘down’ run with a distance of 89.98 kms (the 2nd highest distance in the Comrades history) thereby winning the prestigious Robert Mtshali medal.
He finished the race in 09:32:34 seconds becoming first Comrade from Nagpur to achieve this milestone.
With this, Zamwar has also earned the back to back medal (awarded to the Comrade novice finishing two consecutive Comrades in succession).
