Marking MSME Day, ‘Industry Skill and Employee Conclave 2025’ (MP RISE) programme was organised in Ratlam district on Friday in presence of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, which was telecast live in the district level programme organised in Jabalpur in the presence of MLA Ashok Ishwadas Rohani as the chief guest. The programme was specially attended by Rikunj Vij, Chairperson, Jabalpur Municipal Corporation. underlined role of MSME in the progress of the country and said that the Government is working to increase investment in the MSME sector. RIC organised at regional level in the State under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Yadav. The Government has succeeded in bringing investment through the scheme. The Government’s intention is that maximum investment should be made in Madhya Pradesh and skilled labour should be made available to industries so that youth can get employment at local level.
 
Youth were urged to become employment providers by setting up start-ups/self-employment instead of getting jobs. He appealed to the youth to use their skills and knowledge to establish MSME units in Jabalpur itself and play a role in making Jabalpur industrially prosperous. JMC Chairperson Vij also motivated the youth to move forward for self-employment and make their career. During the programme, loan sanction letters worth Rs 1.53 crore were distributed to 22 beneficiaries under various self-employment schemes from the stage. Apart from this, Sarvarth Jabalpur, which is a local IT company distributed placement letters to 10 local youths.
 
The employment department organised a job fair and self-employment department provided information by setting up a stall. The representatives from Swami Vivekanand Career Guidance Cell, Mahakaushal College provided career guidance to youth. Dr Alpesh Chaturvedi, Principal Mahakaushal College, Damodar Soni, Councilor, Pushparaj Sengar, Professor, Dr Arun Shukla, Divisional Incharge, Vivekanand Guidance Cell, MS Markam, District Employment Officer and a large number of MSME entrepreneurs, beneficiaries of self-employment schemes and youth were present.
