Crime Branch and Tilwara police nabbed two drug peddlers and seized 7.24 kg ganja worth Rs 1.44 lakh from them. The arrested have been identified as Yash Ahirwar alias Babu (20), a resident of Ramanagara, Chaudhary Mohalla in Tilwara and Siddharth Dubey (20), a resident of Ramanagara, Tilwara. SHO of Tilwara Police Station, Brajesh Mishra informed that during routine patrolling near the residence of Mithlesh Tiwari in Ramanagara, combine team of Crime Branch and Tilwara police held doubt on two suspicious young men, one carrying a blue trolley bag.
 
Witnessing the police, the duo attempted to escape from the spot but alert cops managed to catch them. During preliminary questioning, suspects identified themselves as Yash Ahirwar alias Babu and Siddharth Dubey, residents of Ramanagara, Tilwara. On searching Yash Ahirwar’s trolley bag, police recovered four packets containing illegal stock of ganja. Police seized ganja weighing around 7.24 kilograms valued at approximately Rs 1.44 lakh. Tilwara police have registered a case against both the individuals under Sections 8 and 20 of the NDPS Act while further investigation is underway.
 
The drug peddlers were apprehended with active working of police team led by SHO, Crime Branch Shailesh Mishra comprised of Crime Branch Head Constables Virendra Singh and Atal Janghela, Constables Rajesh Matre, Trilok Pardhi, Rajesh Mishra, Vinay Singh, and ASI, Dhananjay Singh from DSB, Tilwara Police personnel including Head Constables Satish Shukla and Mahendra Patel and Constables Rahul Sanodiya and Gaurishankar Paraste.
