Focus and hard work pay, says Mrunmay Urkude

 

 

Despite constant stress due to less marks obtained in practice tests, Mrunmay Urkude, a student of Ambedkar College, managed to score 101 marks in JEE Advanced in Category rank of 449 and common Rank list of 16,153 to make his parents proud. Mrunmay’s hard work and constant support from his parents and grandmother motivated him throughout the academic session. “Less marks in practice tests, peer pressure and time management were the main challenges that I had to overcome.

 

Believing in myself, I did not get distracted and focused on the exam. I did not expect such great scores but after seeing the results, I can finally say that the hard work has paid off,” said Mrunmay. Mrunmay’s journey has motivated many younger students who are preparing for these competitive exams. Mrunmay also added, “Challenges are part of our journey, once you learn to overcome them then nobody can stop you from achieving your goals,” he added. He thanked his teachers, parents and friends for their support and guidance.
