MAHARASHTRA bagged gold medal in girls doubles of the 10th Senior National Minigolf Championship jointly hosted by Nagpur District Minigolf Association and Maharashtra Minigolf Association at Vasantrao Naik Government Institute of Arts and Social Sciences. Maharashtra were followed by Madhya Pradesh who took silver while Chhattisgarh took home bronze medal. In the knock-out team event, Maharashtra, along with Rajasthan, had to be satisfied with bronze. Madhya Pradesh won gold while Haryana clinched the silver medal. In the boys doubles, Rajasthan pocketed gold, Haryana bagged silver while MP and Odisha were joint bronze winners. INTERNATIONAL MINIGOLF PLAYERS FEted International players, as well as all state office-bearers, secretaries, presidents, as well as professors of Vasantrao Naik Government Institute of Arts and Social Sciences (VNGIASS), coaches and managers of various state organisations were felicitated on this occasion.
 
On the occasion, Dr Madhavi Mardikar, Dr Shrikant Bohte, Dr Vishnu Changde, Director of the Institute, Dr Manohar Kumbhare, Dr Surajsinh Yevatikar were present. At the outset, the event was inaugurated on Thursday in the august presence of Director of VNGIASS Dr Manohar Kumbhare; President of Mini Golf Federation of Asia Dr Pravin Manwatkar; Secretary of Asian Mini Golf Sports Federation and Mini Golf Federation of India Dr Surajsinh Yevatikar; Joint Secretary of Mini Golf Federation of India Prof Surendra Chavan, Nagpur District Mini Golf Association Vinod Surkhute, Principal of Nashikrao Tirpude Physical Education Institute. Dr Vivek Awasare, Dr Anil Bankar, Dr Buddharatna Lihitkar, Vijay Naidu, Chetan Mahadik, Shashwat Sakhare, Chetan Thakre, Dr Devidas Gadekar, Dr Suyash Pandagale, Sanjay Wadatkar, Pranay Sukhdeve, Gaurav Sontakke were prominently present.
