NSUI holds meeting discusses on

The executive body meeting of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) state unit was held in presence of State Congress President Deepak Baij at state Congress party office Rajiv Bhawan in the State Capital on Sunday. NSUI State President Neeraj Pandey said that the main objective of the meeting was to review the current activities of the organisation and prepare an outline for the upcoming movements. Organisational activities of the NSUI state unit were discussed in detail in the meeting. Besides, strategies were chalked out for ‘Kisan Jawan Samvidhan Jan Sabha’ to be held in Raipur city on July 7. Office-bearers of the NSUI state unit, district presidents and other office-bearers attended the meeting.
 
Concerns were raised over issues such as rationalisation, restoration of student union elections, and recruitment of teachers. In the meeting, it was decided to gherao the Vidhan Sabha over student’s issues. Neeraj Pandey said that NSUI decided that a massive campaign will be launched to involve students from across the state in this protest. Every district president and officer was given the responsibility to get maximum number of students from their respective areas to participate in this protest. Along with this, the outline of statewide movements on issues related to students was also decided in the meeting. NSUI will run a strong mass movement on education, unemployment, scholarship, and college problems, the detailed strategy of which will be announced soon. State Congress President Baij addressed the meeting. All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary Devendra Yadav also addressed the meeting. Indian Youth Congress State President Akash Sharma, former Mayor Pramod Dubey, Aijaz Dhebar, Pankaj Sharma, Sanjeev Shukla, Deepak Mishra, Pankaj Mishra, Honey Bagga, Amit Sharma, Aditya Bisen, Sankalp Mishra and other leaders attended the meeting.
