ON The occasion of World Environment Day, R C Plasto Tanks and Pipes Pvt Ltd conducted a grand cleanliness drive in collaboration with Maharashtra Industries Association (MIA), Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), and Gram Panchayat Sonegaon Nipani. The event took place in front of Plasto Unit-2, MIDC Wadi-Hingna Road, Nagpur, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, employees, and environmental enthusiasts. The programme began with participants cleaning plastic waste from the surrounding area, promoting the message of cleanliness. A tree plantation was carried out using Plasto’s 100-litre water tank, and everyone took a pledge to contribute to environmental conservation.

 

Known for water storage, the Plasto tank has now also emerged as a sustainable and innovative solution for tree plantation. Under the guidance of Vishal Agrawal, Director of R C Plasto, the company has regularly taken initiatives to fulfill its social and environmental responsibilities. From MPCB, Regional Officer Hema Deshpande, Sub-Regional Officer Sushil Rathod, and Field Officer Manoj Watane were present. Yogita Dangre, CO of Nildoh Nagar Panchayat,were present. From the MIDC Department, Executive Engineer A P Wankhede and Executive Officer Ashish Timnade marked their presence. Representing MIA was Secretary Arun Lanjewar. Nishant Birla, Director of EPR Plastic Pvt. Ltd., and Ajay Agrawal, Secretary of VPIA, were also present.
