Under the ongoing development initiatives, the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) has started yet another civic infrastructure project. Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh performed bhoomipujan for asphalt road construction work worth Rs 40.12 lakh in areas under Madan Mohan Malviya and Maharshi Arvind wards. The project includes asphalt surfacing of the road stretch from Ghamapur Chowk to Bijasen Mata Temple.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Singh stated that this road construction work is the result of continuous efforts by local Corporator Vivek Ram Sonkar along with Corporator Anju Anita Jaat. Their tireless efforts helped secure funding and initiate the project.
Mayor Singh further emphasized the Municipal Corporation’s commitment to public service, saying, “Our sole objective is to serve the citizens. We will ensure that there are no shortcomings in development work that directly benefits the public.”
Other public representatives also addressed the gathering and expressed satisfaction over the ongoing improvements in basic amenities for residents of the wards. They assured that such developmental efforts will continue under Mayor’s support and guidance.
