ON THE 8th GST Day 2025, WCL has been recognised as the ‘Highest Tax Payer’ in the entire Nagpur region. WCL has won this award continuously for the 8th year in a row. WCL has made total tax payment of Rs 4,010.49 crore including cash and ITC utilisation during FY 2024-25. The award was presented by the Principal Commissioner of CGST Atul Ratogi and received on behalf of WCL by B Indira, General Manager, Finance. It was later ceremoniously handed over to Chairman cum Managing Director, WCL, J P Dwivedi by Director (Finance) Bikram Ghosh in presence of all functional directors of WCL and dedicated finance team. This achievement reflects WCL’s steadfast commitment to transparent financial practices, nation-building, and being a responsible corporate citizen.
