Chitnavis Centre is organising a musical evening of semi-classical Hindi and Marathi songs, by a young talented vocalist Vishwajeet Borwankar, from Mumbai. Vishwajeet is a well known playback singer and a winner of Zee TV saregamapa Marathi and a finalist of Zee Hindi saregamapa. He has sung for many Marathi and Hindi films including the latest release Chandramukhi..a musical, BOYS 3 and Maharashtra Shahir. Vishwajeet is trained in North Indian Classical music for 15 years under the guidance of Dr Ram Deshpande and Pt. Babanrao Haldankar. He is equally well versed in sufi songs, ghazals, classical fusion and Bollywood music. He has been the recipient of Vidushi Kesarbai Kerkar scholarship by NCPA, Pt. Ram Marathi scholarship, etc.

 

For this concert, music will be arranged by Anand Maste and Anushree Phadnis Deshpande will compere the show. The organisers have invited all the music lovers to be present in large numbers to enjoy this soulful evening of musical treat, on July 12, at 6.30 pm, at Banyan hall, Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
