DELHI Public School, Lava edged past Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Ashti by a single goal to win the Under-17 Subroto Cup (Rural) title. Mihir Bolakhe’s 16th minute strike was enough for DPS, Lava to emerge as champions. Ashti boys tried their best to find an equaliser but Lava somehow managed to hold on to that slender lead. In the NMC U-15 second round matches for boys, St John’s blanked Mahatma Gandhi 3-0. Sahil Samundre gave the team an early 2-0 lead scoring in the 2nd and 4th minutes of play. Ashmit Pramanik sealed the issue by bulging back of the net in 13th minute.

Dinanath HS beat Centre Point International 2-1. Manas R and Ritvik scored for the winners while Kush pulled one back for losers. BVM, Trimurti Nagar defeated St Vincent Pallotti 4-2 via penalty shoot-out. After a goalless regulation time, BVM’s Vihaan Daluj, Arniya Raut, Vedant Bandnase and Arnav Kubade found the target while Shlok Thakre and Jigar Kapse scored for Pallotti. Riding on a 10th minute goal by Laksh Siriya, Bhavan’s Civil Lines pipped Dinanath HS 1-0.
