Free eye camp organised by Sewa Sadan Hospital

Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital, in collaboration with Bhopal Utsav Mela Samiti, organised a free eye check-up and cataract operation camp on Sunday at Manas Bhawan, Shyamala Hills, Bhopal. The camp was inaugurated by office bearers of the Bhopal Utsav Mela Samiti and trustees of Sewa Sadan, who began the event with prayers and the lighting of traditional lamps before portraits of deities. A total of 168 patients had their eyes examined during the camp, including 94 male and 74 female beneficiaries. Among them, 52 patients were diagnosed with cataract. These individuals were transported to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital by ambulance and admitted for further treatment.
 
Their cataract surgeries are scheduled to be performed on Monday. Patients who were not found to have cataract were also provided with suitable eye drops. Additionally, all participants underwent blood pressure and diabetes checks as part of the comprehensive screening process. This marks the third such free eye camp organised by Sewa Sadan during the ongoing rainy season in the city. Continuing the series, the next eye camp will be held on Sunday, July 20, at Dubai Sindhi Mahila Dharamshala, Gandhi Nagar. On the occasion, several individuals rendered their services at the camp including Chandrashekhar Soni, Sunil Jainavin, Narayan Singh Kushwah, Pradeep Agarwal, Kamal Jain Shweta, Yogendra Mukharayya, Virendra Jain Shriji, Shailendra Nigam, along with Sewa Sadan trustee Suresh Awatramani and hospital staff.
