THE ICAI Nagpur Branch (WIRC) under the aegis of the Committee on MSME and Startups, recently hosted the MSME Mahotsav at ICAI Bhawan, Dhantoli, themed ‘Ek Din MSME ke Naam’. The event witnessed vibrant participation from professionals, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders across the MSME and startup ecosystem. Chairman CA Dinesh Rathi underlined the importance of MSMEs as engines of inclusive growth and employment. The chief guest of the session, CA Julfesh Shah, Past Vice Chairman, WIRC, elaborated that the MSMEs need a robust and vibrant ecosystem to grow. Gajendra Bharti, Joint Director of Industries, emphasised the significance of a strong localised ecosystem for MSMEs. The technical sessions were led by CA Satish Sarda on ‘MSME Samadhaan and recovery of delayed payments’, CA Yashwant Bhojwani on ‘Simplifying Government schemes for MSMEs’ and CA Neha Kandalkar on ‘Banking finance strategies and credit readiness’.
