Rotary Club of Bhilai Pinnacle (RCBP) celebrated its 7th Charter Anniversary with a grand and heartfelt Installation Ceremony held at Hotel Center Park. On this occasion, the leadership baton was passed to Dr Purwa Rojinder, who took the oath as the new President and shared her vision for the club’s future journey of service.
In her address, President Dr Rojinder said that her team is dream team and together, they will take the club to new heights of pride and purpose. She highlighted the strength of her core team Secretary Madhulika Agrawal, Treasurer Ashmeet Bedi and Sergeant-at-Arms Nikita Goel as the solid foundation of this vision. The event was graced by Rotary District 3261 Governor Amit Jaiswal, First Lady Pallavi Jaiswal, Past District Governor Shashank Rastogi, Charter President Vishakha Rastogi, Immediate Past President, Vinay Agrawal and others.
The key highlight was the oath-taking of the new Board of Directors, led by Shashank Rastogi.
The newly elected President emphasised that the coming year would not be defined merely by projects and events but would focus on meaningful implementation, empowering members and deeply living the Rotary motto, ‘Service Above Self.’ She announced the expansion of the ‘Aahar Seva’ initiative, where every member will sponsor meals for school children on their birthdays in collaboration with Akshaya Patra Foundation and ISKCON, turning personal celebrations into acts of social responsibility.In addition, she highlighted plans under ‘WINS & WASH’ to promote health awareness in schools, the ‘Happy School’ project to improve educational environments, and ‘Rotary Biz Boost’ to support members’ professional growth.
The President proudly shared that club membership has now reached 158, including 14 new members who were warmly welcomed during the ceremony. An impactful audio-visual presentation showcased the club’s vision, reaffirming that Rotary Club of Bhilai Pinnacle aspires to be more than just a club that aims to become a true catalyst for social transformation.
