Rain confessed

I didn’t fall, the rain confessed
Just kissed your cheek, then softly left.
It listened to the storm inside your walls,
Where warmth curled up in quiet halls.
No, I didn’t fall, exclaimed the rain
It just wanted to smell your hair again.
Pouted when you pulled out an umbrella
“Why cover yourself thus, My bella?”
And no, it didn’t mean to make a puddle
Just fall freely when hearts cuddled.
Danced a breeze where couples twirled,
Caressed them in their beautiful world.
So drop those raincoats and brellas,
Let laughter fill your heart, dear fellas
Hear as it whispers with another drop,
“Oh no! I didn’t fall”,
You just enjoy the moment, don’t stop!
