Rajveer Digvijay Aditi shine
 
RAJVEER Rawat, Digvijay Admane and Aditi Payasi excelled in DPS Mihan’s maiden inter-school swimming competition. While Rajveer and Digvijay took the honours in boys’ Under-18 group, Aditi was supreme in the same age bracket for girls. Around 300 students from 20 schools of the city participated in the electrifying event with tremendous enthusiasm. Other players who shone brilliantly include - Parth Ingole (U-10 Boys), Aashti Chinddanwar (U-10 Girls), Sarthak Sadashiv & Pratham Matey (U-12 Boys), Bhavi Rajgire (U-12 Girls), Randhir Singh Gour (U-15 Boys) and Mrunmayi Aniwal (U-15 Girls).
 
The event, christened as ‘AQUA QUEST-The Golden Lane Challenge’, was held at school’s state-of-the-art natatorium igniting excitement and sportsmanship among young swimmers of the city. International long distance swimmer and recipient of the ‘Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award’ and ‘Shiv Chhatrapati Puraskar’, Barkha Kedia Agrawal was chief guest on the occasion. Aranya Kedia, Vice-President, DPS Mihan and Kamptee Road was the guest of honour. President and Pro Vice-Chairperson of DPS Mihan and Kamptee Road, Tulika Kedia, and Director Savita Jaiswal, extended their best wishes to the participants.
 
Barkha Kedia Agrawal praised the initiative taken by the school and emphasised the importance of practice and discipline in achieving excellence in swimming. Medals and certificates were awarded to deserving participants. Principal Nidhi Yadav proposed a vote of thanks. Jaiswal, Indrajeet Parganiha, Bursar, members of Aquatic Association of Nagpur and school’s sports faculty were instrumental in successfully conducting the event.
