To mark the death anniversary of Founder President of the Radheshyam Vinakar Sarvajanik Mandal, the organisation will host a comprehensive health camp on July 19, from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm at Radheshyam Sabhagruh, Balabhaupeth.
This is the 29th consecutive year that the mandal is organising the free eye diagnosis and cataract surgery camp for
the underprivileged. The camp also includes distribution of free spectacles and a bone density check-up for those above the age of 40.
A team of doctors from Indira Gandhi Medical College, led by Dr Ravi Chavan (Dean), will conduct eye examinations, provide necessary treatment, and prescribe spectacles.
Given the growing concern of osteoporosis in India, currently affecting over 60 lakh people, the camp will also feature bone density testing using advanced machine.
The Radheshyam Vinakar Sarvajanik Mandal has also collaborated with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) to host an awareness session on alcohol de-addiction. Organisers have appealed to affected individuals and families to take full advantage of this opportunity.
