ATVM installed at Jabalpur
railway station facilitating the passengers
Staff Reporter :
To promote digital ticketing in the Jabalpur Railway Division, total 121 ATVMs have been installed across 31 major stations in the division.
Under the guidance
of Divisional Railway Manager Kamal Kumar Talreja and
the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Dr Madhur Verma, the Commercial Department of Jabalpur Railway Division has installed Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) at major railway stations including Jabalpur, Madan Mahal, Katni, Narsinghpur, Gadarwara, Pipariya, Satna, Maihar, Rewa, Damoh, and Sagar.
These machines allow passengers to purchase unreserved tickets digitally, enabling them to make payments independently without the need for physical currency.
This initiative not only simplifies the ticketing process but also helps avoid long queues at the unreserved ticket counters. Passengers have begun actively using the facility and are appreciating the Indian Railways' move toward a faster, more convenient, and cashless ticketing experience.
Senior DCM Dr Madhur
Verma has urged all passengers to make the most of this
facility and support the railway’s efforts to modernize and digitise its services.
