New branch of Indian Coffee House inaugurated in city

Indian Coffee House (ICH) has now opened its new branch (Pure Veg Restaurant) in the premises of Mahakoshal Shaheed Smarak, Gol Bazar, on Sunday. Now people of the area also need not travel far to enjoy aromatic coffee and delicious South Indian, North Indian and Chinese cuisine, especially Masala Dosa, Idli, Vada with Sambar and Chutney, Cutlet, Uppama, Uthappam, Biriyani etc. State PWD Minister Rakesh Singh inaugurated the new branch of Indian Coffee House. The special guests were Mayor Jagat Bahadur, MLA Ajay Vishnoi, MLA Dr Abhilash Pandey and MLA Ashok Rohani. Vice Chancellor of JNKVV, Dr Pramod Kumar Mishra, Sandeep Rajak, State Commissioner, Divyaangjan and Dr Jitendra Jamdar, Roopa Rao were also present on the occasion. During the inauguration, Minister Singh for the progress and success of this new branch.
 
Likewise, special guests and many other dignitaries also extended their best wishes for the success of Indian Coffee House. Contd from page 1 On the occasion, Chairman of the Society, O K Rajagopalan expressed his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of all the employees to Mahakoshal Shaheed Smarak Trust for allocating this place for operation of ICH. While giving a brief introduction of the society, Rajagopalan said, “Indian Coffee House is being run by Indian Coffee Workers Co-operative Society Ltd., Jabalpur. It is an ISO certified co-operative society established in 1958 and registered under Madhya Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act 1960. Started in a very humble manner in 1958 with 16 members and nominal capital of Rs. 1,365 and one branch at Jabalpur. Now the Society has more than 186 branches in 20 states of India. It is only a workers’ cooperative society, which is completely controlled by its employees.” All the employees are members of the Society.
 
Indian Coffee House has developed as a brand image in hospitality service during these 67 years and has gained the confidence of the people by quality food and best service. Rajgopalan said, “By opening more branches our aim is to provide standard food at reasonable and affordable prices to the general public, to provide maximum employment facilities to the youth, to develop the cooperative movement and indirectly to participate in nation building.” Rajagopalan said, “We work with the motto ‘Work is Worship’ and ‘Atithi Devo Bhavah’. The continuous progress of an institution is possible only with customer satisfaction and cooperation of employees, he added and said that our society is a great example of successful organisation in the cooperative movement.
