Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara, hosted a student felicitation programme recently and conferred Dr Achyuta Samanta Samanta with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his outstanding and selfless contributions to education and social transformation. Recognising his pathbreaking work in uplifting marginalised communities through free and holistic education, the college applauded Prof.

 

Samanta’s efforts in supporting over 80,000 students with food, shelter, and learning opportunities under his institutions. “I am deeply humbled to receive this honour from an institution rooted in the ideals of Swami Vivekananda,” said Dr Samanta. Prof. Debasish Bandyopadhyay, Vice Chancellor of KISS University, was guest of honour. Swami Kamalasthananda, Principal of the college, and others were also present.
