Shri Mathuradas Mohota Science College

 

 

Addressing the gathering at the College Foundation Day celebration organized by Shri Mathuradas Mohota Science College in the city recently, former MLA Anil Sole said that teaching is not a profession, but a sacred mission. Engineer Mohit Shah, President of Nagpur Shikshan Mandal, presided over the event. On this occasion, noted entrepreneur in the field of Information Technology R Ramakrishnan addressed the audience as guest of honour. He encouraged the younger generation to take initiatives in innovation, artificial intelligence, and environmental sustainability. Also present on the dais were Vice President of Nagpur Shikshan Mandal Vikas Binzani, Secretary Adv. Rajiv Dev, and Principal Dr Jeevan Dontulwar.

 

Other distinguished office-bearers of the Nagpur Shikshan Mandal including Mahesh Agrawal, Adv. Rajendra Rathi,. Chandrashekhar Chandak, Mathuradas Panpaliya, Madhusudan Binzani, Dr Vijaya Khanjode, Dr Y S Deshpande, Former Principal Dr Shivaji Jivaji, and Principals and Heads from sister institutions of the Mandal were also present. During the event, Dr Dontulwar presented a detailed progress report of the college. Dr Deoram Nandanwar introduced the chief guest. As part of the celebration, outstanding faculty members and non-teaching staff who significantly contributed to the college’s development were felicitated by the dignitaries.

 

The honored faculty members included - Dr Archana Sawane, Dr Vaishali Badiye, Dr Vaishali Ramgunde, Sandeep Tammewar, Prof. Shyamli Khalatkar, Dr Madhukar Dhonde, Dr Jagdish Janbandhu, Dr Satish Rathod, Dr Sambhaji Bhosale, Dr Amit Setia, Dr Sanjeevani Jawdand, Dr Ashwini Danav, Dr Kapil Ganorkar, Dr Vijay Sapner, Prof. Aditya Tiwari, Prof. Payal Dudhe, Dr Sumit Chavan, Vandana Ambade, Sonali Ganje, Dinesh Kotangle, Sandesh Tammewar, Raksha Linge, Mansi Sadhankar, Dr Manish Katiya. Among the non-teaching staff, those felicitated included - Avinash Kholkute, Dnyaneshwar Dharphode, Sharad Bhoyar, Sachin Dabhnekar, Divya Ambulkar, Vaishali Madavi. Student Sanjana Kolhe, Anushka Waghmare, Drishti Urkude, Vaibhav Sonarkar was also recognized during the program. Dr Vaishali Ramgunde and Prof. Shyamli Khalatkar conducted the proceedings while Dinesh Kotangle proposed the vote of thanks. To ensure the success of the event, special efforts were made by Vice Principal Dr Jitendra Ramteke, event coordinator Dr Nikhil Palande, Dr Satish Goswami, Dr Vijay Soman, Dr Bhavana Salame, Prof. Bhavana Madavi, and Dr Poonam Gupta.
