Social organisation Disha took a heartfelt step on 21 July by extending support to mentally ill, homeless, and destitute individuals cared for by Feel Parmarth Foundation in Sector-3, Bhilai. The team provided essential items such as diapers, phenyl, fruits, and other daily-use materials to improve the living conditions of the residents. Introducing Amit Raj, the 31-year-old founder of Feel Parmarth, Shantanu Dasgupta from Disha said, “Where society turns away, Amit Raj has supported about 150 mentally challenged people over the past seven years. His foundation is currently caring for 86 people.
 
His efforts are a true example of humanity.” Volunteers from Disha, including GS Sandhu, Rajesh Dharkar, Ramanujan Raju, Sujit Chakravarty, Bhaskar Devnath, Bapi Das, Uttam Dey, Debashish Majumdar, Anjan Raychaudhuri, Kalyan Ray, Pramod Kharalkar, and Mohan Giri, actively participated. Family members of the team, including Rita Das, Bhawani, and Jharna, also contributed. Archana Sarangi from Seth Badri Lal Khandelwal Education College, Durg, and her students joined with labour support. Dr Suresh Sharma from Disha assured that the organisation will continue expanding such humanitarian initiatives. He emphasised that small acts of care can bring real change and inspire the younger generation to contribute.
