In a major breakthrough in the high-profile drug trafficking and sexual exploitation case in Bhopal, police on Saturday arrested two more peddlers. Based on interrogation of mastermind Yaseen Ahmed alias Machli, his close associate Jagjeet Singh alias Jagga was apprehended outside Bhopal Airport, having arrived from Delhi. Following Jagga’s lead, another youth named Ansh Chawla was also arrested, while another individual has been detained for questioning. Yaseen’s Remand Extended, MacBook Reveals Secrets: Yaseen Ahmed was produced in the court on Saturday and remanded to police custody until July 30. The Crime Branch has also seized a MacBook belonging to Yaseen, which contains numerous obscene photos, videos, and chats.

 

It also holds other crucial information, based on which Yaseen will be interrogated about every individual he was in contact with via social media, mobile, or direct interaction. New Revelations and Victims’ Complaints: Police revealed that Jagga received 30 per cent of the total earnings after each delivery for his involvement in trafficking. He lived a high-profile lifestyle and frequented renowned restaurants, pubs, and lounges in the city. The first victim of Yaseen’s assault and harassment has come forward and based on her complaint, an FIR has been registered at Talaiya police station for wrongful confinement, assault, and death threats. Police are continuously appealing to those tormented by Yaseen and his family to come forward and register complaints, following which several others are now in contact with the police.

 

Chats regarding drugs have been found between Ansh Chawla, the son of Moolchand Medical’s owner, and Yaseen Ahmed. Mohit Baghel, manager of ‘Club 90,’ has also been in police custody for two days, providing crucial information. Serious Allegations Against Uncle Sharik Machli: A young woman has come forward against Sharik Machli, the uncle of high-profile drug peddler Yaseen. The victim has accused Sharik and his two henchmen of blackmail, sexual exploitation, and threatening to viral nude videos and photos.

 

This complaint was lodged at Anand Nagar Chowki, and its investigation has been assigned to a female Sub-Inspector at MP Nagar police station. The victim’s statement has been recorded, and an FIR against the three accused is likely to be registered soon. The 22-year-old victimised student stated that she was exploited from 2019 to October 2024. In 2019, when she was in 11th grade, she attended a coaching class in Anand Nagar for PSC preparation, where the coaching owner introduced her to Divyansh Ahirwar. Divyansh took her to his house under the pretext of giving her an MPPSC book and offered her a cold drink, after which she fell unconscious. Upon regaining consciousness, she found herself without clothes. According to the victim, Divyansh made nude videos and photos of her and began blackmailing her by threatening to viral them.

 

Fearing this, she started giving Divyansh the coaching money she received from her father. Divyansh repeatedly blackmailed her, pressured her into sexual relations, and assaulted her if she refused. Divyansh had cloned her mobile number onto several of his phones and used fake IDs on Tinder, Bumble, Instagram, Telegram, and WhatsApp to trap other girls, especially female students from the same college targeted in ‘love jihad’ incidents. Divyansh’s girlfriend informed the victim that her nude videos and photos were being circulated online. Upon learning this, the victim attempted to hang herself but was saved by her father.

 

The victim revealed that Divyansh forcibly took her to ‘Club 90,’ where Hindu female students were allegedly raped by Farhan and his associates. There, he introduced her to Sharik Machli and Mohit Baghel. Divyansh claimed that they worked for Sharik and provided him with the nude videos. He also asserted that due to Sharik’s influence, the police took no action against them. On September 11, 2024, the victim went with her father to Pipani police station to file a complaint, but the police did not take action. The complaint then reached senior officials, and the investigation was assigned to a female Sub-Inspector at

 

MP Nagar police station. Police stated that the team returned to Bhopal with Yaseen on Saturday. Significant information regarding his associates involved in drug trafficking in Rajasthan has been obtained. Based on this information, several more major revelations are expected in the case. Girls were often sent to deliver drugs, and in exchange, they were given free doses of drugs. A long chat between Yaseen and Jagga was found in Yaseen’s mobile, revealing conversations about drugs. Jagga was running a ‘Justice for Yaseen’ campaign on social media, and police are preparing to interrogate those associated with it.
