All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary for Chhattisgarh Sachin Pilot, accompanied by Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Dr Charan Das Mahant and other Congress leaders, met former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s son Chaitanya Baghel and former Excise Minister and Konta MLA Kawasi Lakhma at Central Jail Raipur on Saturday. Pilot was on a day’s visit to Raipur. Speaking to media outside Raipur Central Jail, Sachin Pilot stated that Chaitanya Baghel has expressed his determination to strongly contest his case. Pilot accused both the central and state BJP governments of misusing central investigative agencies to suppress the opposition.
