The Nagpur Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (WIRC) hosted a seminar on the “Use of Artificial Intelligence in the CA Profession” recently at Vanamati on VIP Road. The event received an overwhelming response from the CA fraternity, with more than 500 members in attendance - underscoring the growing interest in integrating AI into professional practice. At the outset, CA Dinesh Rathi, Chairman of ICAI Nagpur Branch,

 

emphasized the pivotal role of emerging technologies. The inaugural session was conducted by CA Swaroopa Wazalwar, Vice Chairperson of the branch. CA Jitendra Saglani, in his brief remarks emphasized that AI is a companion of Chartered Accountants and not the threat. Gracing the occasion as

 

chief guest, CA Ketan Saiya, Chairman of WIRC, lauded the branch for proactively engaging with futuristic subjects and urged members to embrace AI tools as vital allies in enhancing quality, efficiency, and client service.
