Artists craft over 40,000 tiger idols under ‘Bagh Dev’ campaign

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav took part in the ‘Bagh Dev’ campaign by sculpting a tiger idol as a symbolic gesture of reverence towards wildlife conservation. On the occasion, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Bagh Dev (Tiger God), seeking prosperity and well-being for the State.

As part of this unique initiative, over 40,000 tiger idols were crafted with the help of local villagers across the buffer zones by artists from Pachdhar village in Seoni district. These idols were created as part of the awareness campaign to promote tiger conservation in rural areas. The same artists from Pachdhar also assisted the Chief Minister during the idol-making activity at the State-level programme held in Bhopal, showcasing the deep cultural and ecological connection between local communities and tiger protection efforts.
