Nagesh and Azhar for divyang’s T20 Elite Trophy

 

IT IS a matter of pride that two talented divyang players — Nagesh and Mohammad Azhar from Vidarbha have secured places for the T20 Elite Trophy 2025 to be organised in Chennai from July 30 to August 1 under the joint aegis of the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (a BCCI supported organisation) and the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association of Differently Abled.

 

This prestigious national tournament will feature three teams: India Blue, India Red, and India Green. A total of 45 outstanding players have been selected from across the country to participate. Nagesh, a medium fast bowler will ply his trade for India Green while all-rounder Azhar will play for India Blue team. On being selected, the entire team of Vidarbha Disabled Cricket Association, led by its President Sanjay Bhoskar, has extended heartfelt congratulations and conveyed their best wishes for their success in the upcoming tournament. This selection is not only a proud moment for the Vidarbha region but also a source of inspiration for other emerging differently-abled players across the nation.
