Women of ‘Jay Haritima Club’ celebrate Sawan Utsav

Members of ‘Jai Haritima Mahila Samiti’ (JHMS) celebrated ‘Sawan Mahotsava’ on the sacred month of Shravan at the Guest House of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV) on Tuesday, July 29. The programme begun with the worship of Lord Shiva, meanwhile JHMS was organised Sawan Queen Competition in various category, wherein Hem Shashi Sahu won the title of Sawan Queen Charming Lady, similarly Nisha Verma and Jyoti Bhatt secured the title of Pretty Lady and Lovely Lady respectively. Apart from this Sawan Special Game was also played, in which Durga Prajapati and Kshama Agarwal were the winners.

 

The programme was conducted by Durga Prajapati, Secretary of the club, and Dipti Mayi Das, Joint Secretary. Preeti Bhandarkar took charge, ensuring a fun-filled experience. JHMS President Mamta Chandel and Judge Madhulika Das provided valuable support. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mamta Lakhera, Vice-President of JHMS.
