AVBRH holds live workshop on World Brain Day

 

 

 

IN OBSERVANCE of World Brain Day, Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital (AVBRH), Sawangi (Meghe), conducted a live workshop on ‘Flow Diverters’, the latest and most advanced treatment for Intracranial Aneurysms. The event was chaired by Dr Pankaj J Banode, a distinguished Neurointerventional Radiologist, and included live demonstrations and academic discussions that attracted nine in-training Interventional Radiologists from across the region.

 

During the workshop, two patients diagnosed with Supraclinoid Internal Carotid Artery Aneurysms were successfully treated using flow diverters, showcasing real-time deployment and planning strategies for this cutting-edge technology. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions covering the indications, benefits, and technical intricacies of the procedure.
