The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Vidarbha Zone on July 3, organised its inaugural session on Managing Fugitive Emission Control 2025 in Nagpur. Shree Jamdar, Chairman, CII Vidarbha Zone, Nagpur underscored the critical need for industries to adopt robust emission control measures. Amitabh Sinha, Vice Chairman, CII Vidarbha Zone, highlighted the need for innovation and collaborative efforts across sectors.

 

Rajendra C Thakare, Plant Head, Ashok Leyland, Bhandara, shared real-world experiences on successfully implementing emission control strategies. Dr Atul Vaidya, Vice-Chancellor, LIT University, Nagpur, stressed the critical role of research, advanced technologies, and skilled manpower in addressing environmental challenges. Hema Deshpande, RO, MPCB, Nagpur, assured industry stakeholders of MPCB’s continued support in facilitating the transition towards environmentally responsible practices while ensuring statutory compliance.
