Heavy rainfall has been continuing in the entire district since Thursday afternoon. Due to this, rivers, monsoon nullahs are flooded and the water level of the Narmada river has also risen. Locals are facing problem due to waterlogging at various places in the district headquarters. In Dindori town, due to waterlogging in houses around the Krishi Upaj Mandi including Civil Line, PWD Colony, and Masjid Mohalla, residents are confined to their home. Due to heavy rains, the Kharmer river in Amarpur district has flooded and the water has come over the bridge, due to which road from Dindori to Amarpur and Mandla road has been closed since morning. Amarpur police chowky staff has been deployed near the bridge.
 
Barricades have been installed in the Kharmer river bridge on the Mandla road, the water level is constantly increasing due to continuous rain. Due to excessive rainfall in the village Gopalpur area of ??Karanjia development block, the water level in the Seoni river has increased and flood situation has arisen, due to which traffic is closed from both sides, and more than two dozen villages have lost connectivity. The same situation is in Jabalpur road, due to flood in Kanai river near Vikrampur, this road also remained closed due to water coming in the bridge. Vikrampur Ghusiya road has also remained closed due to flood in Kanai river. Further, due to the rise in water level in Chakrar river, Bajag to Bijaura road is closed and hence the connectivity of many villages with the tehsil headquarters was broken. Due to flood in Rora monsoon nullah near Mudki village, bridge is flooded, due to which the Shahdol road including Nevsa is closed for traffic.
