The students of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (now RBU), Nagpur, have once again proven their talent on a national platform. Final-year Mechanical Engineering students Rakshit Ekare and Yash Petkar, achieved a stellar victory at the national-level TATA Elxsi Teleport Season 2. The competition saw participation from over 6000 teams across India. The team, named MechX Titans, was mentored by Dr Y M Sonkhaskar. Despite the tough competition, MechX Titans rose to the top.

 

They won the national championship title along with a cash prize of Rs 2,00,000. This achievement reflects the innovation, hard work, and excellence of RBU’s student community. In recognition of their outstanding performance, both students have also received a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) of Rs 10 LPA. Vice Chancellor Dr Rajesh Pande congratulated the students, applauding their dedication and hard work that have brought immense pride and national recognition to the university.
