Raksha Bandhan at Raj Bhavan with children from SOS Balgram, others

The auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with great warmth and enthusiasm at Raj Bhavan in the dignified presence of Governor Mangubhai Patel.
 
The event brought together children from SOS Balgram Bhopal, girls from the National Association for the Blind, and sisters from the Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya. During the celebrations, the children joyfully tied Rakhi to Governor Patel, symbolising the sacred bond of protection and affection.
 
The Governor, in turn, distributed sweets to the children and presented honorarium gifts to the participating organisations as a token of appreciation for their valuable work. The programme was graced by the presence of SOS Balgram Bhopal’s superintendent, Arpana Gupta, and Nishant Raj; M S Khan, President of the National Association for the Blind, Bhopal; Vice President Adita Asnani; Secretary Uday Hatvalne; and B K Reena, representative of Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, along with other members.
 
The event was a heartwarming celebration of the Raksha Bandhan festival, emphasising community bonding and the spirit of care and protection.
