Institute of Technology (VIT) hosted an insightful workshop on ‘Unleashing your potential: How to prepare for industrial interview’ by Pratik Giramkar, Embedded Developer and Hiring Officer at various international companies. Marking yet another successful initiative by the T&P Programme Officer Dr Saurabh V Lawate, Prof. Uttara Dudhapachare, Departmental Coordinator to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Students from all engineering branches actively participated in the interactive workshop session and gained practical knowledge to enhance their employability with importance of personality development with resume writing, technical preparation, soft skills, communication strategies, stage daring, interview do’s and don’ts with entrepreneurial skills in today’s competitive world and emphasised key strategies for self-growth, leadership, and
HIGHER Education and Competitive Exam Cell of Nagpur Institute of Technology, Nagpur recently organised guest lectures on the topic ‘Career planning through higher education: Trends and insights’ and ‘Career in Defence services’
 
for the students.

Resource persons were Dr Surendra Gole, Professor (Operations) and Dr Indu Muzumdar, Head Training and Placement Officer from National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) Nagpur. Dr Surendra shared information about benefits of higher education whereas Dr Indu guided on the various options available to enter in Defence services. Dr Amol Deshmukh, Principal of NIT delivered the opening remarks. Dr Vijay Kalbande, Head, Mechanical Engineering Department motivated the students to prepare for higher study examinations like GATE, CAT etc. Prof. Nikhil Maske proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Rohan Deshmukh, Prof. Manasi Shedame, Prof. Mohammad Sajid, Prof. Arti Burghate and students worked hard to make the programme successful.
